Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of File Master, the online file conversion and editing service available at filemaster.guru. By using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

File Master lets you convert, compress, merge, and edit files (PDFs, documents, images, audio, video, and more) in your browser. Files are processed on our servers and made available for download, then deleted automatically after the retention period for your plan. File Master is a processing tool, not a backup or storage service — always keep your own copy of important files.

3. Accounts and guest use

• You may use the service as a guest; guest sessions and their files expire automatically.
• Creating an account requires accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use File Master.

4. Your files

You keep all rights to the files you upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process them in order to deliver the operation you requested (for example, converting a document). We do not use the contents of your files for anything else.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload or process content that is illegal, or that you do not have the rights to use;
• Upload malware or any content designed to harm the service or other users;
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits, probe, or disrupt the service (including automated bulk usage beyond normal operation);
• Use the service to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Plans, payments, and ads

• The free plan has limits (file size, daily conversions, batch size, retention) shown in the app, and includes advertising.
• The Pro plan removes ads and raises limits. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider; prices and billing terms are shown at checkout.
• If a Pro subscription lapses, your account returns to the free plan and free-plan limits apply again.

7. File deletion

Uploaded and converted files are deleted automatically when their retention period ends (see the Privacy Policy for details). We are not responsible for loss of files after their scheduled deletion.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that results will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, File Master and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, for free users, to zero).

10. Termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version; continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
